How it works: The iSeeIt Experience

iSeeIt is the simple and effective way to organize your thoughts and enable visual communication through the use of your own images.

iSeeIt can be installed on up to three different computers, effectively linking the user's teachers, caregivers, and family.

Step One

Capture an image, or set of images, that are important to you or the iSeeIt user.

You may use any image, gathered from anywhere:

  • Taken with a digital camera

  • Scanned from old photo albums

  • Downloaded from the Internet

Step Two

Use a single image or build a series of personalized steps to engage with the world. You can add single images or sequences of images to iSeeIt through the iSeeIt desktop/laptop interface (installed at up to three locations), or through your Microsoft Windows-based PDA.

The sequences you build hold special meaning for you and the iSeeIt user. You can use them to:

  • Accomplish a task

  • Identify a person, place or thing

  • Make a purchase

  • Tell someone about you day

Step Three

You can easily add, remove, or modify individual images, image sequences, or accompanying audio.

You can make changes to your images, image sequences, or accompanying audio from your PDA, or you can make larger changes easily through the iSeeIt desktop/laptop application.

Building new sequences is simple, allowing iSeeIt to grow with its user.

You and the user have the flexibility to develop iSeeIt in your own way, at your own pace.
